Yes! I was lucky enough to join =tiny5th in going to see the massively awesome Nightwish play at the Astoria in London!!!!

In the queue we met some great people who we had such a laugh with which made the experience ace! It was great to have to pre-show banter with them *I think the whole queue heard my loud n saucy laughing!!! *

We got in and i chose to have a seat rather than stand in the mosh pit .. Im not the fittest person and woulda got too tired standing about... but part of me wished i did 'get in there'.

Luckily we had an awesome balcony view of the stage and prime acoustics positioning

They were supported by the swedish industrial metal band 'ain' who warmed up the crowd nicely with their music and a cover of 'Eleanor Rigby' unfortunetly their music balance wasn't correct so the drums overpowered the set... but yes I found their music to be kick ass

With eerie blue lighting and spookily epic intro music Jukka came on first and the girls started screaming! I myself felt quite emotional as I have never been to a concert before and the atmosphere was electric. They opened the concert with 'Bye Bye Beautiful'

They played the whole of their new album and a selection of older stuff.. Anette did a outstanding job of working the crowd... She wore a loli black and white skirt and top with high boots. Later in the show she had a silver tiara crown.

Much headbanging and clapping and table slapping ensued by myself and many others

The Islander and Last of the Wild nearly brought tears to my eyes :respect:

The Encore was the icing of the cake 'Nemo' 'Wishmaster' 'Wish I had an angel' was played and everyone belted it out

This is easily one of the best nights of my life
